My most memorable moment was making my debut for my school Grey College's first team. The whole school cheered my name, which made it an unforgettable experience.

I pray before every match.

Bakkies Botha and Eben Etzebeth are my biggest inspirations in rugby. Their physicality and toughness have greatly influenced me.

The funniest player in our squad is Daniel. 

A challenging moment in my rugby career was when I got a hip injury. I overcame it by being patient and diligently completing my rehab.

Away from the rugby field, I enjoy hunting, fishing, and riding a bike. These activities help me unwind and relax.

My advice to young aspiring rugby players is to dream big but remember that dreams without hard work and goals are just dreams.

The most unusual or interesting place I’ve played rugby is in the Perel.

If I could invite three rugby legends to a braai, they would be Juan Smith, Bakkies Botha, and Eben Etzebeth.
