Scrumhalf Rewan Kruger played for Grey College, Free State Craven Week (2016), SA Schools (2016) and SA u.20 (2017-'18).
He made his debut for the Toyota Cheetahs on 20 November 2021 as a substitute for Enver Brandt on the left wing. In the next match against Baia Mare of Romania, he came on in the second half to replace Tian Meyer.
He made his Currie Cup debut for the Toyota Cheetahs against the Griquas on 15 January 2022 in Round 1 of the 2022 Currie Cup Premier Division. He played in eleven of the thirteen Currie Cup matches as a substitute for Ruan Pienaar, the Cheetah captain.

He is part of the 2023 Currie Cup winner's squad.
