One of the most memorable moments of my rugby career was playing in the World Cup — not everyone gets that chance, and it’s something I’ll never forget.

I don’t follow any specific pre-game rituals, but I always make sure I’m ready mentally and physically before a match.

Dan Carter has been my biggest inspiration in rugby. His way of playing and managing games was brilliant, and I’ve always tried to learn from his approach.

The funniest player in our squad has to be Marco Jansen van Vuuren.

A challenging moment in my career came when I suffered a major injury. I overcame it by staying mentally tough and focused on my recovery.

Away from the field, I enjoy playing golf and watching series or movies to unwind.

My advice to young aspiring rugby players is simple: keep working hard — hard work will always beat talent.

One of the most unique places I’ve played rugby was in Uganda for the Africa Cup, which was a fascinating experience.

If I could invite three rugby legends to a braai, it would be Willem Alberts, JP, and Ruan Smit.

And yes, I can light a fire without blitz.
