Investing in the Future

The Toyota Cheetahs continue to strengthen their development pathway through a group of talented young players who have committed their futures to Cheetahs Rugby.

Hooker Myburg Jacobs joins from Trio High School in Kroonstad, while wing Jade Muller and centre Winton Abrahams graduate from the Central University of Technology system after impressing in the university ranks.

Several highly regarded schoolboy players will also enter the Toyota Cheetahs system. Grey College products Eddie Mabena, O'Ryan Kleyn, Christoff Crous and Chris Nieuwoudt have all signed junior contracts, continuing the strong relationship between Free State Rugby and one of South Africa's premier rugby schools.

Hooker Mahlatze Memeza joins from Jeppe High School, bringing further promise to the union's junior structures.

These signings reflect the Toyota Cheetahs' commitment to identifying and developing talented young players capable of progressing through the ranks and representing the senior team in the future.
