Players from Toyota Cheetahs rugby team's Cheetahs4Change initiative, players of Jim Fouche High School's rugby teams, members of AfriForum's Wilgehof branch in Bloemfontein and members of the public jumped in on Saturday, 17 April to repair potholes and to paint lines in the streets in front of the school.
The Cheetahs4Change initiative started about a month ago, aiming to make a difference in the local community and approached the local AfriForum branches to tackle some projects together.
Today's initiative was the first joint project. Christo Groenewald, AfriForum's district coordinator in Bloemfontein, expressed the hope that AfriForum and Cheetahs4Change will tackle many more projects together.
