In 2014 he moved to Bloemfontein and remained in the thoughts of the national selectors.  He was called up into the South Africa U20 squad for the 2014 IRB Junior World Championship in New Zealand finishing as runners-up in the competition.

He returned to domestic action for the Free State U19 side (2014) and after playing a single match for Bloemfontein Crusaders in the 2015 SARU Community Cup and was included in the Free State XV for the 2015 Vodacom Cup competition, making his provincial first-class debut against SWD Eagles.

Made his Currie Cup debut in 2017 against Boland and his Vodacom SuperRugby debut 2 July vs Western Force in Toyota Stadium.

Dweba played a few games in the SuperSport Rugby Challenge in 2018, the Toyota FS XV made is to the Semi Final but lost against Griquas in Kimberley.

The 2018/19 season has been Dweba’s breakthrough season in the Cheetahs jersey. An injury to Jacques du Toit saw Dweba being promoted to the starting side, and he has not looked back since. He has won the man of the match award on three occasions. He missed the tour to Ireland and Wales because of an injury.

Dweba is strongly tipped to become a Springbok in the not too distant future.
