Rugby is a sport that brings South Africans together. It’s what we talk about around braai fires, the tries that were scored and the forward passes that the referee didn’t see. We all know the rules better than the referee and as much as rugby would not be the sport that it is without tries, it would also not be the sport that it is without the penalties.
Rugby is a perfect example of the fact that, as much as there are penalties for breaking rules, there are also rewards for following them. If there is no referee, no penalties, and no tries - rugby is just a game of adult men, chaotically running around with an inflatable rubber egg. The same chaos will rule in a company that does not implement the rules and regulations set by the government, putting their business at risk.
