The Ebersohn brothers, Robert and Sias, are the only twins who played in the same match for Free State’s senior team.

To cap it all, their dad, Tiaan, also played for Free State. Robert and Sias are, however, one of 31 pairs of brothers who played in the same match for the Free State Cheetahs.

This is some of the interesting information to be found in a book about 125 years of Free State and Cheetah rugby.

The book, written by Mister Statistics, Frikkie van Rensburg, will be available by the middle of the year. It will initially only be printed in Afrikaans at a price of about R400.
